Our grant funding supports frontline organisations and projects that provide essential help for seafarers and their families in crisis. Each grant application is assessed against our core goals to ensure the support provided to ensure that your donations go to where the need is greatest.

Merchant Navy Welfare Board
A grant awarded to the Merchant Navy Medal Fund for 2020 and 2021. The fund is organised and run by the Merchant Navy Welfare Board in conjunction with many others and Department for Transport are arbiters of the medal.

Merchant Navy Welfare Board
International Port Welfare Partnership: the next stage of a MNWB & ISWAN collaborative partnership project which aims to encourage & facilitate the creation of welfare boards that bring the maritime community together to work in partnership.

Marine Society and Sea Cadets
Final year of Phase 2 of the Marine Engineering Pathway Project, supporting the development of nationwide engineering skills for young people.
Amount awarded: £260,000
International Seafarers' Welfare & Assistance Network
A grant awarded by the Seafarers' International Relief Fund to help support vaccinations for seafarers in India, and to provide financial and emotional help for seafarers and their families impacted by COVID-19 in India.
Amount awarded: £133,000
International Seafarers' Welfare & Assistance Network
The grant is for the salaries and running costs of SeafarerHelp, the multilingual 24-hour helpline for seafarers and their families all over the world.

Falklands Veterans Foundation
Grant to enable a Merchant Navy veteran's granddaughter to accompany her disabled mother during her visit to the Falkland Islands graves of her Father killed in actions during the Falkland Islands conflict.
