The Seafarers' Charity operates three main grant programmes to provide funding to organisations supporting the safety and welfare needs of seafarers and their families.
Main Grant Programme
Our Main Grant Programme supports the majority of our grant awards for charities and not-for-profit organisations, delivering safety initiatives and welfare services to seafarers and fishers.
Merchant Navy Fund
Merchant Navy Fund is a joint fundraising and grants programme operated in partnership with the Merchant Navy Welfare Board. It is focused on funding welfare services which support the UK’s merchant seafarers.
International Fund for Fishing Safety
IFFS - The International Fund for Fishing Safety. A charitable fund to improve safety in global fishing.
