How your company can support The Seafarers' Charity

Charity of the Year

A Charity of the Year partnership with The Seafarers’ Charity offers a number of benefits and will enhance employee engagement and be a major part of your CSR commitments. We understand that every company is different – our dedicated fundraising team can help create a bespoke fundraising and partnership package which is beneficial to both the charity and your company.

Commercial engagement

Cause-related marketing partnerships work to create products or services supported by The Seafarers’ Charity brand. Teaming up to market a new or existing product, or service, can lead to increased sales, positive PR coverage, increased customer loyalty and attract new customers.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is an easy way for people to donate to charity through their salary. It’s a flexible system that allows your staff to donate as much or as little as they wish to the charity of their choice. Donations are deducted from salaries before tax, making it a tax-efficient way to give. It's easy to set up and any administration costs are tax deductible. Donations can be counted as part of your Charity of the Year targets.

Corporate donations

Giving a corporate donation to The Seafarers’ Charity enables an organisation to claim tax relief by deducting the amount donated from pre-tax profits at the end of your financial year.

Staff fundraising

Staff fundraising is the perfect way to build engagement and true partnerships with an organisation. This may take the shape of a company-wide challenge or participation event, an inter-departmental challenge, or smaller teams partaking in an event. Our fundraising team can help you plan, advise, support and provide materials and resources to assist in your fundraising activities.

Event sponsorship

The Seafarers’ Charity has a number of events which require support and sponsorship throughout the year. This may include exclusive sponsorship for prestige events or partial sponsorship for modules of an event. We welcome the opportunity to discuss the benefits of sponsorship schemes.

The 24 Peaks Challenge has certainly brought our company closer together. Our main goal was to start and finish together, supporting each other through the highs and lows to finish the route.'
