Statement: Strait of Hormuz
Our thoughts are with all seafarers affected by recent attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz, and by the wider crisis across the Middle East.
We ask that everyone spares a moment to think about these brave men and women who keep the world supplied with food, fuel, medicine and so much more.
The charity calls on all parties to respect seafarers’ safety, well-being, and basic rights.
We will continue to support seafarers and their families during these highly worrying times.
