Our grant funding supports frontline organisations and projects that provide essential help for seafarers and their families in crisis. Each grant application is assessed against our core goals to ensure the support provided to ensure that your donations go to where the need is greatest.

International Seafarers' Welfare & Assistance Network
A grant awarded by the Seafarers' International Relief Fund to help support vaccinations for seafarers in India, and to provide financial and emotional help for seafarers and their families impacted by COVID-19 in India.
Amount awarded: £133,000
International Seafarers' Welfare & Assistance Network
The grant is for the salaries and running costs of SeafarerHelp, the multilingual 24-hour helpline for seafarers and their families all over the world.

Falklands Veterans Foundation
Grant to enable a Merchant Navy veteran's granddaughter to accompany her disabled mother during her visit to the Falkland Islands graves of her Father killed in actions during the Falkland Islands conflict.
Amount awarded: £1,300
Deutsche Seemannsmission
Emergency financial assistance for approximately two months to support Kiribati seafarers stranded in Fiji to enable them to buy food, drinking water, basic toiletries and SIM cards to communicate with families and friends.
Amount awarded: £95,000
Cornwall Community Development Ltd
Production of a short film on UK tax and national insurance for inclusion within the financial capability training course developed from a recommendation within Fishing Without a Safety Net to enhance the financial resilience of UK fishers.
Amount awarded: £3,000
Cornish Fish Producers Organisation Ltd
Fathom podcast is a project that continues to interview fishing industry experts on relevant themes. It then broadcasts the conversations in order to help build capacity and educate those working within and around the industry.
