Our grant funding supports frontline organisations and projects that provide essential help for seafarers and their families in crisis. Each grant application is assessed against our core goals to ensure the support provided to ensure that your donations go to where the need is greatest.

UK Women in Fisheries
Continued support for the UK Women in Fisheries’ (UK WIF) operations to ensure that women’s voices in the fisheries industry are not just included, but also celebrated.
Amount awarded: £60,000
International Seafarers' Welfare and Assistance Network
Third year of funding for SeafarerHelp, a free, confidential, multilingual 24/7 365 days per year helpline available to an estimated 1.6 international seafarers and their families. (Co-funding in partnership with ITF Seafarers Trust and TK Foundation for 3 year period).

Cornwall Community Development Limited (CCDL)
Funding to provide specialised support to under-10m fleet fishers, aiding in securing funding for projects to enhance their health & safety, and fund boat improvements; improving facilities in smaller harbours; building resilience; and fisher-led scientific research.

Angling Trust
Funding to support a Charter Boat Officer who will advocate for the sector, expand access to government funding, and strengthen resilience and long-term sustainability for the industry.
