Our grant funding supports frontline organisations and projects that provide essential help for seafarers and their families in crisis. Each grant application is assessed against our core goals to ensure the support provided to ensure that your donations go to where the need is greatest.

International Seafarers’ Welfare Assistance Network
A grant awarded in 2022 to provide financial assistance to seafarers and their dependents affected by Typhoon Rai in the Philippines which will enable them to repair their damaged homes.

Grant funding awarded in 2022 from the Seafarers International Relief Fund to provide a fund for individual hardship grants to support the members and their families of the Marine Transport Workers Trade Union of Ukraine who have been displaced from their homes or otherwise impacted by the crisis in Ukraine.

Grant funding awarded in 2022 to cover bank charges incurred while making international banking transfers for individual hardship grants from the SIRF Ukraine Crisis Support Fund (an initiative funded by the Ukraine Seafarers International Relief Fund)
